I know it’s difficult to understand, but the day my website was stolen I was devastated, crushed. I mean even though you can’t hold it in your hand, my website is very much a “thing”. It’s a part of my life and in many ways a part of who I am. So much that people call me “La Diva” for short.

I didn’t know what to do. And there weren’t many people out there that knew what to do either. The first question on my mind was WHO did this? The next thing on my mind was HOW did they do this and why? And finally- I thought-I need my site back and he or she had BETTER give it back or I’ll scratch their eyes out!

It’s a long story. It’s convoluted. But bottom line is this – I worked day and night for about 3 months. I found the cyber-thief! Boy did I give him a piece of my mind. Of course he wanted money. So I told him- "Look, I don’t have any money. And to tell you the truth, I couldn’t even give you money even if I had it because it wouldn’t be true to character. In fact, you know what La Diva would tell you? She would say – you can kiss my a$$! I ain’t giving you a damn thing! I worked too long and too hard for this! I built this from the ground up myself and I am not going to sell out to no cyber-thief!" I took a deep breath and I said- "In fact La Diva would turn around and say I don’t need you! And turn around and build a bigger and better site!!!"

Well of course I mean La Diva Latina is a great name. It was already on the newsstand and heck it was MY name! I wanted it back! So I waited to see if he would bend but he didn’t. He left me no choice. I knew I was right and that I could win this so I took my hard earned money that I saved during the 4 months he was stalling and I took it to court. And won!

Thanks for all your patience and sorry it took so long but at least it taught me one thing- that this website could be a gold mine - at least some cyber-thief out there thought so! But to me it’s just an extension of myself!
