Jennifer Lopez- Back in the BRONX, Again!

Both Jenny from the Block
and Marc from Manhattan
came back to where it all began!
Back to Marc Anthony's elementary school
which is ironically enough in J-Lo's old neighborhood.
Both of them were teary-eyed
because it brought back so many memories.
At the time J-Lo still hadn't said she was pregnant.
See she's using Marc as a shield almost!  :)
Marc Anthony told the children
as he wiped tears from his eyes:
that their principal, Ms. Rivera, was his teacher.
"I've known Ms. Rivera for a long time.
She was a huge part of my youth,
and to the teachers in the audience,
I hope you realize the importance you play
in these kids' lives.
I will never forget her."

Captain Kidd was DOMINICAN!?!

Welllll, according to britannica.com he was
a 17th-century British privateer and semilegendary pirate...
one of the most colourful outlaws of all time.
Fortune seekers have hunted his buried treasure in vain...

Pero ven aca...
they found his treasure in 10 feet of water less than 25 yards
off the coast of Catalina Island in the Dominican Republic.

Kidd captured the Quedagh Merchant
-- loaded with satins, silks, gold and silver --
but left the ship in the Caribbean to sail to New York
on a less conspicuous sloop to clear his name.

"I've been on literally thousands of shipwrecks in my career,"
Beeker said. "This is one of the first sites I've been on where
I haven't seen any looting. We've got a shipwreck in crystal clear,
pristine water that's amazingly untouched."
J-Lo is Sappy Over Papi

J-Lo is an emotional wreck
due to her first prenancy.
"Anything that is touching makes me cry -
any commercial that is sappy and silly.
Things about dads make me cry,
maybe because of my relationship with my own father.
But anytime I see anything about a dad with his little girl,
and I'm over tired, I'm gone!"
Don't worry Jen- Marc is an expert at fatherhood!
Did u know- babies who spend time with Papi
receive high scores on cognitive tests.

Does anyone celebrate Three Kings anymore?
I mean anyone here in the U.S.?
Christmas is over and it's just real quiet.

People always wish you a
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah,
and Happy Kwanzaa  - usually all in one breath.
But no one even talks about
Los Tres Reyes Magos.
Wasn't it theThree Kings
that brought gifts to el Niño Jesús?
Doesn't it just make more sense than Santa Claus?

And what about the
parrandas and aguinaldos?
You remember that song:
Mi burrito sabanero voy camino de Belén!
Remember the song!
Remember
Los Tres Reyes Magos!
Remember the reason for the season!
Singing aguinaldos on Three Kings Day in a small, packed
too hot to leave the door closed because of
pernir in the oven,
the
pasteles boiling.  Pass the coquito and the guiro too!
