Vatican Adds 7 New Sins
Who are the new sinners???
¡Ay Virgen!

The Vatican has announced 7 new sins
due to this new age of globalization!
Bishop Gianfranco Girotti from the Vatican explains,
“You offend God not only by stealing,
blaspheming or coveting your neighbor’s wife,
but also by ruining the environment, carrying out morally
debatable scientific experiments, or allowing genetic
manipulations which alter DNA or compromise embryos.”

Without further ado the new sins are:
polluting, genetic engineering, being obscenely rich, drug
dealing, abortion, pedophilia and causing social injustice.

The original 6th century broad seven deadly sins:
lust, gluttony, avarice, sloth, anger, envy and pride.

Does that mean "obscenely rich" J-Lo is a sinner?
Remember the
twins' diamond studded maracas?
Not if she is charitable.  The Vatican says,
"The poor are always becoming poorer and the rich ever more
rich, feeding unsustainable social injustice."
So, is J-lo charitable?   Word around her old Bronx
neighborhood says that she secretly donates to community
organizations to keep them up and running and insists that
she doesn't want anyone to know.  Who knew!?!
And that is the underground word- so it must be true!

And so now we must look at ourselves, if you pollute - you are
a sinner!  Repent and clean up after yourself!
Enrique Iglesias

Enrique is getting ready to hit the road for The Insomniac Tour
beginning April 18th in Dominican Republic.

His latests CD released in March is "95/08" and is his first
Spanish #1s hits compilation in his 13  years as a recording
artist such as Enamorado Por Primera Vez, Experiencia
Religiosa, Bailamos, Heroe or Dímelo (The Ping Pong Song)
plus two previously unreleased tracks.

Julio Iglesias, Jr.

The winner of Country Music Television's "Gone Country" reality
show was born in Madrid, Spain, and raised in Miami, and none
other than Julio Iglesias, Jr.

The other contestants competing for the Nashville record deal:
R&B singers Bobby Brown and Sisqo, Twisted Sister's Dee
Snider, "American Idol" finalist Diana DeGarmo, Carnie Wilson of
Wilson Phillips fame and "The Brady Bunch" star Maureen
McCormick.

Gerry House, the morning man at WSIX-Nashville, played some
Spanish language country songs to "broaden their listener base"
Angry callers called in saying they didn't want another culture
being "forced" on them.  Then he played the new single by Gone
Country winner Julio Iglesias Jr.

Let's go back and remember that Julio Iglesias (Jr.'s father)  had
one of the biggest cross-over country hits ever with Willie Nelson:
To All the Girls I Loved Before.

Julio Iglesias

Currently on his 2008 World Tour, forty years later after the start
of his unparalleled international musical career -over 250 million
albums sold in 14 languages- Julio Iglesias is still melting
hearts away.  In his 2008 world tour, "Julio Iglesias in Concert",
he is delighting his audiences with his classic songs, "Manuela",
"Quijote", "Me olvidé de vivir", "Hey!", "Abrázame", "El amor", "Un
Canto a Galicia", and many more songs from his spectacular
international career.

Did you know? In 2006, he recorded for the first time in Mandarin
Chinese, Bahasa Indonesian, and Filipino.   Also did you know
he's a lawyer?  In June 2001 he finished his law degree at Madrid
Spain's Complutense University, fulfilling the promise he made to
his then 84-year-old father that he would eventually graduate after
dropping out 35 years ago to pursue his music career. He
received a certificate as a lawyer from Cambridge University.

Juio Iglesias is in the US for his 2008 World Tour
beginning April 3rd in California.

Jose Feliciano Will Sing for the Pope

Jose Feliciano is a Roman Catholic,
practicing in the Diocese of Bridgeport, Connecticut.
His Bishop, William Lori, invited Jose, his wife, Susan,
and three children to the Papal Mass
at Yankee Stadium on April 20.

It was made known to the “Powers That Be”
that because of this esteemed invitation,
Jose would be returning home early from his tour.

Subsequently Bishop’s Office called enthusiastically
wanting Jose to participate in the pre-Mass concert.
Of course, Jose saw it as an immense honor.

Three songs have been chosen in accord with the
Holy Father’s theme of “Hope”:
“Lean On Me,” by Bill Withers
“Que Sera,” an international hit song for Feliciano
and the Lee Greenwood classic, “God Bless The USA.”
