The First Latino American Idol?

"Mini Motown Monster" David Archuleta
started out with a touching story
of how he was diagnosed with vocal paralysis
but did not want to risk surgery.
As Randy put it,
"I see no signs of vocal - whatever- paralysis!"
Paula says:  "I want to squish you!"
Simon: "I thought... it was incredible."

His first audition he sang,
"Waiting on the World to Change" by John Mayers,
with such soul that Randy sang along with him.
For his 2nd audition he sang,
"Heaven" by Bryan Adams:
"Oh, thinking about our younger years..."

Yes, at only 17 David Archuleta can be the
NEXT American Idol, the youngest AI,
and the 1st Latino American Idol!

David Archuleta born in Florida then moved
to Salt Lake City, Utah, comes from a
Latino -Honduran/Mexican- musical family.
His Dad is a jazz trumpet player.
His Mom sings both Spanish and English pop music.

Venezuelan Government CANCELS
Alejandro Sanz Concert

14-time Latin Grammy Award winner, Alejandro Sanz,
is quoted as saying "I don't like President Chávez",
at a February 2004 concert in Caracas, Venezuela.
Then again in "El Tren de los Momentos" tour stop
in the Dominican Republic, just a few weeks ago,
Sanz said:
"I don't like that form [of governing] because it indicates
that anyone that has an opinion different than his
is silenced....But I believe I have a right to my opinion."

Well, the Venezuelan government has canceled
2 of his sold out concerts.

More than 80 celebrities have signed a statement
supporting Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz
including Shakira, Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez,
Marc Anthony, Penelope Cruz and even
soccer star David Beckham. It said:
"We believe in a Latin America
where we are all free to express our views."
Jessica Alba: "I want a brown baby"

Jessica Alba graces the cover of Latina magazine,
curiously blonder than ever though (*cough*cough*)

us?  wow!  that's .... interesting.  Can we say: yo quiero taco bell? :)

On what she wants her baby to look like:
"I'm excited for my baby to be brown.
I just have to believe the dark gene is going to survive.
Cash and I are like, please!"
Read up Jess, the "dark gene"  is the dominate gene.  

On why she doesn’t think she’s sexy:
"Scarlett Johansson is insanely sexy,
Jessica Biel is insanely sexy, Angelina Jolie is insanely sexy
So why me? It doesn't even make sense."
According to scientists, Jessica Alba's body is mathematical perfection!  
Outbeating even Marilyn Monroe.
